On 20th May 2025, we were honoured to attend a special event in Central London celebrating the impact of high-quality intergenerational programmes. As part of the Creating Intergenerational Communities (CIC) , which we proudly belong to, we joined the lead organisations and other participating projects who have dedicated time and energy to piloting this important programme.
The event recognised our collective efforts to raise the standard of intergenerational practice and foster a UK-wide network that supports shared learning among practitioners. Each organisation was awarded a certificate in recognition of their participation (See our IT Exchange Project Lead, Leonie, accepting our certificate on behalf of Generation Exchange)
It was an inspiring afternoon filled with insightful talks from UK leads Apples and Honey Nightingale, Generations Working Together and Linking Generations Northern Ireland , and a wonderful opportunity to connect with partner organisations from across the country. We left the event buzzing—energised by our shared passion for intergenerational work and the amazing impact it has!
