Generation Exchange Trustees

Karen Greenwood

Karen Greenwood is a Trustee and Chair of Trustees.  Karen has had a long and successful career as a biologist, psychologist, child development researcher, patient advocate, health educator, public health professional, NHS commissioner, primary care lead, service development lead, partnership lead and finally a freelance executive coach. Throughout her working life Karen has been involved with the Voluntary and Community Sector as a trustee, participant and volunteer.  She is now retired and is currently the chair of trustees with Generation Exchange which works with older people and younger people in a number of settings in Haringey and Enfield.  Karen is a founder member of Generation Exchange.

Rosy D’Silva

Rosy D’Silva is a Trustee and Treasurer for Generation Exchange. Rosy’s previous experience includes being Customer Service Manager for a major London Bank, Chair of Governors at St Pauls Primary in Wood Green, and President of St Vincent de Paul Charity.  Rosy brings a wide range of experience working with older people including running Bingo sessions for the elderly, ‘Singing for the Brain’ for The Alzheimer’s Society, visiting Sheltered homes and fundraising for the North London Hospice, Cancer Research, Alzheimer’s Society and Marie Curie.

Maura Pearson

Maura Pearson is a Trustee and Designated Safeguarding lead for Generation Exchange.  Maura worked for 25 years in advertising with 3 separate Agencies and for 15 years in the NHS as Discharge Co-ordinator and bed Manager.  This involved working closely with Age UK Haringey and local Social Services to enable safe discharge from hospital and Nursing Home placements. Maura is a founding member Trustee of Generation Exchange.

Claire Frost

Claire Frost is the Charity Lead and has 30 years’ experience in education and the voluntary and community sector.  She has experience as a Director in Education and Training in East London and Principal Policy Development Officer in Equalities for a local authority.  Claire has won three awards: The National Childcare Champions Award, The HIV/AIDS Campaign and Education Award and The Outstanding for All Best Community Organisation Award.  She has an MA in Adult Education, BA Hons, BSc Hons, RSA Certificate in Counselling and has 16 years’ experience working as an Acupuncturist in hospital, GP and private clinic settings and is a Member of the British Acupuncture Council.

Leonie Eisenberg

Leonie Eisenberg runs IT Exchange, Generation Exchange’s digital inclusion project.  Leonie has over 17 years’ experience of volunteer management and intergenerational project management for Age UK Enfield and Generation Exchange. In 2014 she was part of MiCommunity, a pan-London digital inclusion project with 9 London Age UKs, with teenagers providing digital support to older people in schools.  She currently runs IT Exchange in Haringey and Enfield with older people learning digital skills and Spanish conversation with sixth formers from London Academy of Excellence in Tottenham and St Annes in Enfield.

Saskia Schreuder

Saskia Schreuder has 30 years’ experience working in social housing (older people in sheltered & supported housing, families and young people/care leavers).  

Saskia ran the Over 50’s Forum for Age UK Haringey and then worked independently for the Forum as their Newsletter Editor.  Saskia co-ordinates Generation Meet Share Exchange, our Friendship and Lunch Club bringing older and young people from Haringey’s Alternative Provision, bringing communities and the generations back together through sharing food and activities.

Alex Stone

Alex coordinates the Generation Meet Share Exchange.  He loves experimenting with new recipes and finding new ways of sharing new tastes and food combinations with Generation Meet Share Exchange’s participants both young and old.

Harry Stone

Harry co-ordinates Generation Meet Share Exchange’s Front of House, greeting, supporting and co-ordinating games with the group’s participants, particularly leading on chess.
